Is this a telehealth visit?
Yes. Same Day Sick Call is an AZ IV Medics telehealth service. Your clinical visit takes place by secure video, so you can connect with a provider from home for eligible short-term concerns.
Can I be seen today?
Call to request a same-day visit. Our team will confirm availability and whether your concern is appropriate for this service before scheduling. Same-day appointments depend on provider availability.
What does a visit cost?
The initial telehealth visit is $120. Subsequent telehealth visits are $60. If the provider determines a prescription is appropriate, the fee is $20 per prescription in addition to the visit fee. Ask the team about any separate pharmacy costs.
Do you bill insurance?
No. Same Day Sick Call is a cash-pay service. No insurance claims are submitted.
Will I receive a prescription?
Prescriptions are not guaranteed. They are provided only when the evaluating provider determines they are clinically appropriate. Narcotics and other controlled substances are not prescribed through this service.
Can you help with a medication refill?
Select established, noncontrolled medication refills may be considered as short-term support while you wait to see your primary care provider. A refill requires provider evaluation and is not guaranteed.
What if I need a different type of care?
This service is for eligible short-term, uncomplicated concerns. It does not cover emergencies, severe symptoms, controlled-medication requests, GLP-1 therapy, peptides, hormone management, or ongoing management of complex chronic conditions. The provider may recommend an in-person evaluation when appropriate.
