Owner, creator, and Chief Executive Officer of AZ IV Medics, Matt Heistan brings Arizona roots, emergency medical experience, military service, and a performance-minded approach to the company he founded in 2016.

Matt is a lifelong Arizona native who grew up in Mesa and attended Westwood High School, Scottsdale Community College, and the University of Maryland, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
After serving in the United States Air Force, Matt continued his work in emergency care. He became a certified EMT in 1999, then joined the Peoria Fire Department as a Firefighter Paramedic, serving for 17 years before recently retiring to focus fully on AZ IV Medics and his entrepreneurial ventures.
